Prayer for Patience
Waiting is never easy, but God teaches us valuable lessons through the pauses in life.
Heavenly Father,
In moments of delay or frustration, help me to remain patient. Teach me to trust Your perfect timing and to rest in the knowledge that You are always working for my good. Give me a heart that waits with hope, not worry. Help me to show patience to others, just as You’ve shown it to me. Amen.

Patience is not just about waiting—it’s about how we wait. We often associate waiting with wasted time, but in God’s design, waiting is where transformation happens. Romans 8 speaks of a hope-filled patience rooted in trust. Sometimes the delay is protecting us. Sometimes it’s preparing us. And often, it’s shaping our character for something greater than we imagined.
When you find yourself asking, “Why not now?”—pause and remind yourself that God is never late. What He begins, He finishes. Let your waiting become worship.
